Visionary Broadband Acquires Mountain Broadband
Briefly

"Acquiring Mountain Broadband aligns perfectly with our vision of bringing high-speed internet to rural areas," Visionary Broadband CEO Brian Worthen said in the announcement. "We are continuing our focus on reliable broadband in remote corners of the region."
Mountain Broadband's website said the company was formed in 2010 and was active in four areas: Gilpin County, Boulder County, Jefferson County, and unspecified areas in Sedalia.
This is not the only recent acquisition by Visionary Broadband. Last March, it took the reins of Aristata Communications, which operated in Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, Huerfano, and Lake counties in Colorado.
Visionary Broadband, said in November 2022, that it would spend $100 million to build fiber internet in 20 communities in Colorado as well as Wyoming and Montana, where it also operates.
