After a long hiatus from fighting, Jimmy Crute is set to return at UFC 312 in Sydney against Rodolfo Bellato. He views the light heavyweight division as wide open, presenting him with opportunities to re-establish himself. Crute shared insights about his time off, where he found fulfillment in working outside MMA, yet he is eager to fight again. It's wide open. I do always pay attention to what's happening, at light heavyweight especially. Even if I don't watch it, I just keep tabs on it.
I realized while I was away that I could do anything I wanted. It was quite a freeing thing.
To me though, there's just so much left undone here. I don't ever want to work for the man again.
I'd have a good life with or without this.
