Police in Harlow seized a handgun, drugs, and cash during a raid on January 22, leading to charges against two men, Euron Hoxha and Can Bilgili. Responding to reports of a firearm, officers intercepted Hoxha as he tried to flee and discovered 28 bags of cocaine on him. A subsequent search revealed additional drugs, a blank-firing handgun, and significant cash. Both suspects were charged with possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and are remanded in custody until their next appearance in court.
This was a good example of coordination between our teams, working to tackle drug supply and reports of weapons seen in Harlow.
Upon arrival, a man attempted to escape in a vehicle but was intercepted and found with 28 bags of cocaine.
