Two men charged after 11kg of cocaine found in cars in Rainham and Basildon

On December 1, police conducted vehicle stops in Rainham, leading to the discovery of approximately 3kg of cocaine in a Vauxhall Corsa driven by Luis Vivas.
Later that same day, 8kg of cocaine and a hunting knife were found in a BMW driven by Alexander Van-Ristell during a routine stop in Basildon.
Both suspects, aged 36 and 53, were charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs after the substantial cocaine seizures.
Their legal proceedings have commenced, with a remand to custody following their December 2 appearance in Barkingside Magistrates' Court.
