On December 1, police conducted vehicle stops in Rainham, leading to the discovery of approximately 3kg of cocaine in a Vauxhall Corsa driven by Luis Vivas.
Later that same day, 8kg of cocaine and a hunting knife were found in a BMW driven by Alexander Van-Ristell during a routine stop in Basildon.
Both suspects, aged 36 and 53, were charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs after the substantial cocaine seizures.
Their legal proceedings have commenced, with a remand to custody following their December 2 appearance in Barkingside Magistrates' Court.
