Tsunami warning lifted for Bay Area coast after magnitude 7.0 earthquake rocks California's northwest coast
Briefly

The floor just kept moving. Our power is out, Eureka resident Rhonda Mitchell said minutes after the quake. I'm pretty shook up right now. Our earthquakes here aren't rolling ones like down in the Bay Area, said Mitchell, who lived in Milpitas for 42 years. They shake violently back and forth, and this one felt like it just wasn't going to stop. It's the longest earthquake I've ever experienced.
The National Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning at 10:49 am and canceled it roughly an hour later, at 11:54 a.m. The earthquake was followed by a large cluster of aftershocks ranging from 2.7 to 4.0 magnitude. More are expected.
