"Look, the law is very clear," Carr told CNBC. "The Communications Act says you have to operate in the public interest. And if you don't, yes, one of the consequences is potentially losing your license. And of course, that's on the table. I mean, look, broadcast licenses are not sacred cows."
Carr has hinted at scrutinizing a CBS 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris, stating, "There is a news distortion complaint at the FCC still, having to do with CBS, and CBS has to be prepared for that investigation."
