"It's so easy. I would fire him within two seconds. He'll be one of the first things addressed," Trump stated, indicating Jack Smith's removal would be a priority if reelected.
"Jack Smith is a scoundrel. He's a very dishonest man, in my opinion, very dishonest man. And he's a mean man," Trump disparaged, further portraying Smith as overreaching in his investigations.
"You could face impeachment efforts if you fired Smith," Hewitt cautioned. Trump, however, dismissed this idea, indicating he believes the potential backlash is overstated.
"I wouldn't take it off the books. See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they've done to me..." Trump discussed the potential for pardoning Hunter Biden, suggesting an openness to it.
