The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is set to track Santa Claus and his reindeer around the world, continuing a 69-year holiday tradition that brings joy and excitement.
The Santa tracking service can be accessed through NORAD's dedicated website, an app, and various platforms including social media, Amazon Alexa, OnStar, and SiriusXM, making it widely accessible.
It all began in 1955 when a child misdialed a number that was supposed to be Santa's, instead reaching the Continental Air Defense Command, leading to the start of the Santa tracking tradition.
Last year, the Santa tracker site saw millions of visitors, with volunteers answering over 130,000 calls, showcasing its popularity and the joy it brings during the holiday season.
