Kwasi Kwarteng asserts that Labour has trapped itself with its current economic policies, warning that the UK faces a dire outlook with no easy solutions.
Kwarteng emphasized, 'They've killed growth stone dead,' expressing concern that ongoing policies may lead the UK into a recession, further necessitating tax increases.
Reflecting on his dismissal, Kwarteng said, 'They reversed all the policies in the mini budget. Where we are now is there's no end in sight.'
He added, 'In the meantime, I think they're going to kill growth... the danger is that we'll be in a recession, God forbid.'
