Chevening House, a historical manor given to the nation by the last Earl Stanhope, will open its gardens to the public on July 6, 2025. This event, occurring only once annually, allows visitors to explore the substantial gardens designed in various styles, including French formal and informal English. Entry fees are £12 for adults and £1 for children. Although advance booking isn’t required, it is encouraged to avoid long queues. Picnicking is popular, and visitors will receive a map to navigate the best garden features during their visit.
The gardens at Chevening House, usually closed to the public, will be open for a day of exploration on Sunday, 6th July 2025.
