Thriller: Christopher outlasts Westmont in OT as Jaxen Robinson's late shot rolls in
Briefly

In a closely contested game, Christopher emerged victorious over Westmont with a 61-59 score, thanks to Jaxen Robinson's timely basket in overtime. After trailing at halftime and in overtime, Christopher rallied back, capitalizing on Robinson's scoring surge in the second half. Initially struggling, Robinson scored 10 consecutive points, shifting momentum in favor of Christopher. Despite Westmont's strong comeback efforts, including a late rally to tie the game, Christopher held on for the win, ensuring their top position in the Blossom Valley Athletic League's Mt. Hamilton Division.
It was going all the way around forever, Robinson said. It really freaked me out for a second.
Christopher found success by going to the big guy. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound Robinson... had only two points at halftime.
Suddenly a 26-20 deficit was turned into a 30-26 lead. Christopher's Jaxen Robinson (20) and Westmont's Matthew Taylor (13) follow the ball.
Westmont scored the next seven on a 3 by Ebuka Okeke, a basket by Robinson down low and a layup off a steal by Quinn Ledesma Old-Elk.
