The Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens presents a stunning floral display for the Lunar New Year, themed around the Year of the Snake. This exhibit features a 28-foot red-and-gold snake and is divided into four distinct floral beds. The North Bed showcases the snake, while the East Bed features playful pandas symbolizing yin and yang. The West Bed contains a majestic Banyan Temple, and the South Bed blooms with cherry blossom trees. The exhibit combines aesthetics, culture, and sensory experiences, including music and scents, celebrating the meaning of the new year.
"Our goal was to highlight the serpent's qualities of intelligence and grace while creating a space for visitors to embrace the joy and good fortune of the season," Ed Libby, the designer, said in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure.
The spectacle is divided into four floral beds, with the starring animal attraction featured on the North Bed, where a red-and-gold snake rises 28 feet into the air.
The East Bed shows off a playful side with its pandas, Bao and Mei, symbolizing yin and yang.
The South Bed blooms with cherry blossom trees of every shade of pink and white, set against the backdrop of the new year.
