In the upcoming season of HBO's satirical comedy series The White Lotus, leading men Jason Isaacs, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Sam Nivola confirmed they will appear in notable nude scenes. During a press conference, they expressed discomfort about those scenes, particularly in front of family. The new season, set in Thailand, introduces the Ratliff family, with Isaacs as the father and Schwarzenegger and Nivola as his sons. Despite their fears, the actors found comfort in working with creator Mike White, who they felt created a supportive environment for these intimate moments.
"There are some uncomfortable conversations between us in the bed that are a little weird to show in front of your family," he said of the season's nude shots.
"Of course, that comes along with a lot of fear and anxiety," Nivola shared, but added that creator White made the cast feel so comfortable.
"I'm horrified because I didn't know I was naked in the thing... I'm very upset," Isaacs joked about his unexpected nude scenes.
"There's a few people that I would trust more with footage of my buttocks," Nivola joked of White.
