The Weeknd's upcoming film, Hurry Up Dreaming, is set to be a suspense thriller starring Abel Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan, with a release date of May 16, 2025.
Directed by Trey Edward Shults, known for A24 hits, the film is produced by The Weeknd's company, Manic Phase, in collaboration with Lionsgate.
Hurry Up Dreaming, the movie, will be released following the cancellation of The Weeknd's previous TV series, with the accompanying album debuting January 24.
The new album marks the conclusion of his trilogy, following the acclaimed After Hours and the latter project which has been highlighted by Pitchfork as one of the best albums of the 2020s.
