The Roots are playing a six-show residency at the iconic Blue Note this March
Briefly

In March, The Roots will host a six-show residency at the Blue Note in Manhattan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their major label debut, 'Do You Want More?!!!??!'. The shows will feature two performances each night and focus on the band’s early material. Drummer Questlove and lead MC Black Thought shared their excitement for the residency, emphasizing a return to the band's roots from the mid-90s. Although tickets have mostly sold out, this event has sparked speculation about new music from the band, who last released an album in 2014.
In a separate video post, Questlove is joined by co-founder and lead MC Black Thought. "It's where it all began," says Questlove on camera.
Questlove announced, "We are doing six early Roots era focused shows," referring to the essence of the performances celebrating their musical history.
