"Sources believe whoever is responsible for the gruesome killing had extensive knowledge about how to cover their tracks"
"He loved rallying and this part of the world. Rallying loved him. I'm led to believe his wife Janice is somewhere there in the crowd."
Investigators believe the killer had extensive knowledge about how to cover their tracks following the gruesome killing of farmer Mike Gaine. A rally and vigil took place in Kenmare as crowds gathered to honor the murdered farmer. Janice Gaine, the 56-year-old widow, watched the proceedings silently in bitterly cold weather. The event was organized by Killarney and District Motor Club. Club chairman Sean Moriarty spoke about Gaine’s love of rallying and the local area and noted that his wife Janice appeared to be in the crowd. Community members paid tribute to the deceased.
