The Best Christmas Sandwiches | Christmas | London On The Inside
Briefly

This year's PAUL's best Christmas sarnie is vegan, stuffed with the much maligned Brussels sprout. Inside a white baguette, you have roasted sprouts, spinach, beetroot with balsamic vinegar, a crispy potato rösti, vegan mayo and sweet onion marmalade. Potato inside bread? That's the spirit of Christmas right there. You can get this in-store or have it delivered via Uber Eats or Deliveroo.
Pret always turns out a reliable Christmas sandwich. The ratio of fillings to bread is on point, so it doesn't fall apart when you wrap your chops around it; the port & orange cranberry sauce isn't overly sweet; and it has crispy onions, which everyone knows totally makes the sarnie. Pret is also hot Christmas food this year, including a Pigs in Blankets Hot Roll.
If turkey isn't doing it for you this year, M&S has a suitably festive alternative with their new truffled egg & honey-roast ham sarnie, featuring a whole poached egg right in the middle. 5% of sales from the entire festive range will be donated to Shelter, so buying more than one is totes acceptable.
We know what you're thinking - it looks a little flat. You never judge a book by its cover and you should therefore never judge a sandwich by its height. This is a bad boy, a smoked...
It's that time of year when eating sarnie after sarnie for lunch is totally acceptable and not even lockdown will get in the way of that.
