A Swiss International Air Lines flight from Bucharest to Zurich made an emergency landing in Graz, Austria, after smoke was detected in the cabin and cockpit.
SWISS confirmed that all 79 individuals on board, including five crew members, were safely evacuated. Twelve passengers required medical attention due to the incident.
The airline is collaborating with authorities to investigate the cause of the emergency landing and has arranged special flights for affected passengers to reach Zurich.
Following the emergency landing, one crew member was airlifted to a hospital in Graz, while other crew members are receiving medical care; their conditions remain undisclosed.
