Strong earthquake kills at least 95 people near Mount Everest in Tibet, western China

The magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck the northern foothills of the Himalayas, with its epicenter in Tingri, China, causing widespread deaths and regional tremors.

Authorities reported at least 95 fatalities from the earthquake, which significantly affected buildings not only in China but also in neighboring Nepal, Bhutan, and India.
