Suzuki, along with CC Sabathia and Billy Wagner, was inducted in 2025, yet one ballot remained unmarked for him. Smith, on ESPN's First Take, called for the voter to reveal their identity, questioning how anyone could doubt Suzuki's Hall of Fame worthiness given his historic achievements, including 3,000 hits and multiple accolades during his MLB career.
