Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez says Israel is exterminating a defenceless people'

Sanchez also hit out once again at the international community, saying major world powers had ended up paralysed between indifference over a conflict without end and complicity with the government of Prime Minister Netanyahu."

The UN special rapporteur and the majority of experts were described as already characterising the campaign as genocide. Sánchez criticised major world powers for paralysis and complicity. Spain moved to formalise a prohibition on military equipment sales or purchases with Israel, ban use of Spanish ports and airspace for military transport, bar implicated individuals from entering, and increase humanitarian assistance.
