With their pot currently standing at €5.5million and set to rise further, Rovers secured a seeded spot for the draw after finishing tenth in the league.
The first-leg of the pivotal play-off takes place on February 13, with the return leg set for February 20 at Tallaght Stadium.
The winners of the February play-off will progress to the last 16, where they will face either Legia Warsaw or Cercle Brugge.
