Semiconductor crook admits $50M Russian exporting scheme
Briefly

Ilya Khan, a man with US, Israeli, and Russian citizenship, pleaded guilty to illegally exporting semiconductors to sanctioned businesses in Russia since 2012.
The court documents revealed Khan's two US-registered companies served as fronts to evade export controls, exporting a staggering 290,000 microelectronics to Russia.
Khan's operations involved sending Taiwan-manufactured semiconductor equipment to the US and then re-exporting it to Russia, circumventing sanctions imposed after Ukraine's invasion.
Despite their separate registrations, investigations indicated that Senesys Incorporated and Sensor Design Association were effectively the same entity in their operations.
