The Carshalton Park Fireworks event has been cancelled for 2024 due to slow ticket sales, as well as insufficient support following FeastFest's withdrawal.
Local mum Lucy Jones, who partnered with FeastyFest, expressed hope to revive the fireworks this year, but the cancellation foiled those plans.
A spokesperson for the event expressed sadness over the cancellation, citing slow ticket sales and the last-minute withdrawal of FeastFest as key reasons.
All tickets purchased will be fully refunded, including the booking fee, as announced with the cancellation decision on October 1.
