According to The Sun, Urfan Sharif was ambushed by two inmates at HMP Belmarsh on New Year's Day, resulting in cuts to his neck and face.
The Prison Service is currently investigating reports of the assault, with the Metropolitan Police probing into Sharif's case after his reported injuries.
In December, Urfan Sharif and his partner, Beinash Batool, were sentenced for the horrific murder of Sara Sharif, a child who suffered unimaginable abuse.
Mr Justice Cavanagh emphasized the chilling details of Sara's treatment, describing it as torture that occurred in plain sight and was exacerbated by Sharif's authority.
