Sunny Mar's photo, "Cattle's Best Friend," won the People's Choice Award in the "Picturing Coyote Valley" contest, showcasing the beauty of Coyote Valley's landscapes and wildlife.
"Coyote Valley is a respite from the city. At sunrise, the drive down Palm Avenue is a peaceful awakening. One morning a flock of European starlings settled onto the pasture alongside the cows," said Mar.
The contest invited community members to capture images of Coyote Valley's landscapes and wildlife, highlighting local conservation efforts and community engagement in preserving natural beauty.
The winners, including Mar, received $100 gift cards and will have their work featured in upcoming authority events, promoting local appreciation for nature and photography.
