Royal Mail has shared its recommended final posting dates for sending Christmas cards and presents, with crucial deadlines for various services to ensure timely delivery.
Nick Landon, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Mail, highlighted their annual preparations, stating, 'Every year we pull out all the stops to deliver Christmas for our customers.' He mentioned a surge in staffing and fleet capacity to manage increased demand.
To aid in the rush before Christmas, Royal Mail will implement extra deliveries up until 8pm and increase Sunday processing to deal with the Monday shopping surge.
The recommended final posting dates include December 18 for 2nd Class, December 20 for 1st Class, and December 23 for Special Delivery Guaranteed services.
