"The technology could one day give you honest feedback about yourself or your date. The computer could tell if you're a bore," said Iman Chatterjee.
"Physiological synchrony is most likely an evolutionary adaptation that takes place subconsciously. It probably creates a better level of coordination," explained Chatterjee.
"The researchers were able to differentiate four different conversation scenarios with as much as 75 per cent accuracy, measuring physiological responses during various conversations."
"During the study, participants discussed both positive and negative topics, while the computer measured their physiological responses to gauge engagement and compatibility."
