Manchester United has reached a full agreement to hire Ruben Amorim, having triggered his 10m release clause, but negotiations over the timing are ongoing.
Amorim's contract at Sporting CP requires a 30-day notice period, which has prompted United to work on a financial incentive for an earlier release.
To facilitate Amorim's transition, Manchester United has agreed to let him manage Sporting until the November international break, with an additional fee paid.
Sporting are insisting on a 5m fee for Amorim's immediate release, while his last match with the club is set for November 10.
