The vessel, named "Sea Story," capsized after being struck by large wave near the Sataya Reef and sank in just seven minutes.
Of the 44 people on board, 28 were rescued with minor injuries, and all of them are reported to be doing well post-incident.
Despite being certified for safety and passing inspections in March 2024 without issues, the boat succumbed to 3-4 meter waves in the Red Sea.
The incident has heightened concerns over maritime safety in the area, especially with confirmed reports of German citizens among the missing.
