Rebekah Vardy ordered to pay Coleen Rooney further 100k in Wagatha costs battle

Judge Andrew Gordon-Saker ordered Mrs Vardy to pay an additional £100,000 to Mrs Rooney, stating, "I think there is some scope for a further payment on account so the defendant is not kept out of her costs."

In July 2022, Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in Mrs Rooney's favour, declaring the viral post "substantially true" and indicating that Mrs Vardy's agent probably leaked information to the press.

Judge Gordon-Saker mentioned, "The line-by-line assessment is probably going to be next year, hopefully early next year," suggesting a prolonged resolution process for this legal dispute.

The hearing began with the judge stating, "The parties need to get on with this and put it behind them," emphasizing the need for closure in a lengthy legal battle.
