Ready to hit the slopes? Some Southern California resorts announce weekend openings
Briefly

‘We’ve been through a lot this year; we’re open and here and ready for an incredible winter,’ said John McColly, VP of marketing for Mountain High, highlighting their recovery from the September Line Fire.
Mountain High will open with a top-to-bottom run featuring at least three trails and some park features, providing a starting point for the snow season.
The opening day will host various events including giveaways, coffee and pastries for passholders, and a DJ on the deck, enhancing the skiing experience.
Weather conditions have been marginal, yet the resort managed to create a sufficient snow base of 1-2 feet to allow for a safe opening.
