RTX Corporation, previously Raytheon, will pay $252 million and forfeit $36.6 million to settle charges of bribing officials in Qatar for military contracts.
Between 2012 and 2016, employees of Raytheon allegedly offered bribes to foreign officials to secure lucrative military contracts with Qatar, resulting in significant profits.
