The Slovak leader, on his part, admitted he and Zelenskyy had "different opinions" on how the war could end, while also adding he could foresee the normalization of relations with Moscow."
The Kremlin announced that any Western military deployment in Ukraine would be regarded as a threat and legitimate targets for destruction. Putin made the remark after 26 countries pledged contributions to Kyiv's post-war security and as Western allies signaled force deployments as part of postwar guarantees. Ukraine reported a drone strike on Russia's Ryazan oil refinery overnight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to stop importing Russian oil, saying Russian oil and gas have no future.
