Psychedelic Mushrooms Are Getting Much, Much Stronger
Briefly

Julian Mattucci, also known as 'God Emperor Myco,' worked on breeding Psilocybe subtropicalis mushrooms to fix inbreeding issues and enhance genetic robustness, leading to surprisingly potent results.
Mattucci reported that after three cultivation cycles, he was floored by the potency of the mushrooms, which hit him harder than any other he had experienced before.
New cultivation techniques are resulting in psychedelic mushrooms that are significantly stronger, with some varieties kicking in faster and lasting longer on much smaller doses.
Tests revealed that one batch of Mattucci's mushrooms contained nearly 5% psychedelic alkaloids, exceeding the typical 1% found in most mushrooms from the Psilocybe genus.
