In his inaugural address, President Trump announced the termination of federal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. He emphasized a shift toward a merit-based society, freezing federal hiring in favor of initiatives that prioritize individual performance. The executive order mandates federal agencies to cease DEI-related practices within 60 days and prohibits the consideration of DEI factors in employee performance reviews. Trump reaffirmed his commitment to defining gender strictly as male and female, aiming to eliminate social engineering based on race and gender.
Federal employee performance reviews, shall reward individual initiative, skills, performance, and hard work and shall not under any circumstances consider DEI or DEIA factors.
This week, I will also end the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.
