'Pop wizard' who made hits for Bowie and Madness plays homecoming gig
Briefly

Clive Langer, a music producer and musician from Hampstead, has left a notable mark in the music industry by collaborating with famous artists like Bowie and Madness. His journey began in school bands, leading to the creation of notable hits in partnership with Alan Winstanley during the 80s and 90s. Fascinated by legendary rock acts, he often sneaked into performances at venues like Klooks Kleek. Despite challenges with his own band Deaf School, Langer continues to contribute to music, evidenced by his recent engagements with The Clang Group.

I worked out if I helped the bands with the equipment before the gig I could get in and see the shows from the inside.
