A PSNI spokesperson stated, "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman at a property in the Laurel Heights area of Banbridge this evening, Saturday December 14. Cordons are in place. More details will follow in due course."
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart expressed her condolences, saying, "I am aware of a tragic incident that has occurred in Banbridge tonight which has sadly resulted in the loss of a life. My sympathies are very much with the family of the deceased at this very difficult time."
