Mauricio Pochettino has formally appointed his longtime assistant coaches to the U.S. national team staff as he assumes his role as head coach.
The composition of the coaching staff includes Jesús Pérez, Miguel D'Agostino, and Toni Jiménez, while his son, Sebastiano Pochettino, will be the sports scientist.
The U.S. began its training sessions on Monday, gearing up for friendly matches against Panama and Mexico later this week.
Pochettino's hiring comes after Gregg Berhalter was dismissed following the Copa América, with a clear focus on preparing for the 2026 World Cup.
