The Morrisons store in Chingford has been closed due to a pest issue, following an emergency prohibition notice from Waltham Forest Council under food hygiene regulations.
Cllr Khevyn Limbajee stated, 'A court hearing is due imminently. We are unable to comment further at this time on the situation with the store.'
A Morrisons spokesperson mentioned, 'Following a visit from the local council, our Chingford store has been closed. We have Rentokil on site now to investigate.'
