People Before Profit call on 'all parties of the Left' not to prop up Fine Gael or Fianna Fail in next government
Briefly

"We would like all the parties of the Left to declare their commitment not to (do so)," he said, adding that there was an opportunity for a Government not led by either of the traditional monoliths -- which got less than 50% of the national vote last time out, he noted.
"I think Simon is well behind the curve on this one," he said. "It is bizarre that there is a Fine Gael/Fianna Fáil spat... We've had a policy of criminalisation for 45 years. It has failed, and all the experts say it has failed."
"If it can save one life, surely that policy should change." He said he had thought all parties agreed on that, adding: "We have to move on."
The PBP priorities are housing and homelessness, where it says it would build 35,000 social and affordable homes a year with meaningful rent controls, banning vulture funds completely.
