Palisades and Eaton Fires Are Fully Contained

More than three weeks after devastating fires in Southern California, state officials confirmed full containment of the Eaton and Palisades fires. The incidents resulted in 29 fatalities, immense property destruction, and dislocation of thousands. The Palisades fire destroyed 6,800 structures and scorched 23,448 acres, while the Eaton fire affected 9,400 structures and burned 14,021 acres.
