Owner of South Shore spas accused of injecting clients with counterfeit Botox
Briefly

Rebecca Fadanelli, the owner of Skin Beaute Med Spa, allegedly injected counterfeit Botox, Sculptra, and Juvederm into thousands of clients, earning nearly $1 million from these sites.
‘The type of deception alleged here is illegal, reckless and potentially life-threatening,’ said Acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy, highlighting the serious implications of Fadanelli's actions.
Fadanelli misled clients into believing she was a nurse when in fact she was only a registered aesthetician, showing a serious breach of trust and safety protocols.
A former employee revealed that Fadanelli sourced Botox from Alibaba, paying $50 per vial for counterfeit product compared to an authentic price of about $650.
