Ohio Officer Makes Social Media Posts Saying He Wouldn't Respond to Emergencies if Victims Are Democrats: I Will Not Help You'

Lt. John Rodgers, a member of the Clark County Sheriff's Office in Ohio, posted on social media that he would refuse aid to Democrats, causing community outrage.

In his Facebook posts, Rodgers made offensive remarks, including stating, 'If you support the Democrat party I will not help you,' and 'Kamala Harris represents SATAN.'

Chief Deputy Mike Young addressed the situation, explaining that while Rodgers' comments were inappropriate, they do not reflect the Sheriff's Office's service to the entire community.

Rodgers attempted to explain his behavior by attributing it to a prescribed sleeping medication, but he received only a written reprimand and remains on the job.
