NYT tech workers strike ahead of Election Day

The Tech Guild is asking readers to honor a "digital picket line" by not playing popular New York Times games such as Wordle and Connections, as well as boycotting use of the NYT Cooking app.
With the strike commencing at 12:01 a.m., the picketing by the Tech Guild outside The Times headquarters began at 9 a.m. ET, showcasing unity amongst workers.
The Tech Guild’s spokesperson noted that more than 350 workers participated in the morning shift of the strike, with expectations of around 500 participants in the afternoon shift.
A representative from The Times stated there are "robust plans in place" for providing news coverage amid the potential impact of the ongoing work stoppage.
