NYC pols demand Whoopi Goldberg apologize for false Staten Island bakery slam - as store is flooded with orders
Briefly

"Recently someone took to the national airwaves and defamed, frankly, this family business," borough president, Vito Fossella, fumed at a news conference held outside the bakery on Friday.
"I really am overwhelmed," Holtermann told The Post. "I'm so happy to have the support. Just to have people come out and talk and build up my business."
"Not everybody wakes up every day and thinks about politics," Fossella added, demanding an apology for the defamation of the bakery.
"We had one today that's donating $150 worth of donuts," Holtermann said, discussing the support from across the country in response to Goldberg's comments.
