The New York Dog Film Festival, celebrating its 9th year, will shine a light on the crucial role of PTSD service dogs, showcasing films that highlight their importance.
Partnering with Purina Dog Chow, the festival introduces the Service Dog Salute category, aimed at raising awareness and funds for the training of PTSD service dogs for veterans.
Dog Chow will donate $5 for every view of the winning film in the Service Dog Salute category, up to $75,000, to support service dog provider training.
With a ticket price of $30, the festival promises to contribute 50% of sales to the Association of Service Dog Providers, directly aiding more veterans.
