Starting January 4, 2024, the MTA will introduce a Winter Weekend discount program for LIRR and Metro-North riders, allowing monthly ticket holders to travel anywhere for just $1 per guest.
The MTA is improving commuter experience with a high on-time performance record; LIRR achieved nearly 96% on-time performance year-to-date, the best November in its history.
