Aldi is set to open a new supermarket in Orpington by Christmas as part of its strategy to launch nine new stores across greater London in 2025. This expansion is part of a larger £650 million investment plan across Britain that includes upgrades to existing M25 stores. Alongside Orpington, new stores will open in Wimbledon, Fulham Broadway, and Caterham, aiming to create 3,500 jobs in London. Aldi's ongoing commitment to providing affordable grocery options has made it the UK's fourth largest supermarket, having won Which? Cheapest Supermarket for four consecutive years.
We strongly believe that everyone in Britain should have access to high quality food at our unbeatable Aldi prices.
Aldi is also opening new stores in Wimbledon, Fulham Broadway and Caterham as part of its 55 million M25 expansion plan.
Looking beyond 2025, the budget supermarket chain has long-term aims to open another 100 stores in London, creating around 3,500 jobs.
