The NBA and NBPA have introduced a new format for the 2025 All-Star Game, featuring a mini-tournament among three teams and the Rising Stars champion.
In this innovative setup, each All-Star team will consist of eight players, leading to a total of three games: two semifinals and a championship round.
The champion of the tournament will be the first team to score 40 points, and each player on the winning team will earn a prize of $125,000.
Selection of players remains unchanged, with fan and media votes determining starters alongside coaches selecting reserves, maintaining the traditional All-Star selection process.
